Precision fit for VW T5/T6

Each set of thermal window covers is shaped specifically for the vehicle model. This means the covers follow the window contours precisely and stay securely in place. They are not a universal solution – the dimensions match Volkswagen T5/T5.1/T6/T6.1 generations in L1 or L2 (Long) versions.

Hidden Edition

Hidden Edition is a thermal-window-cover option in which the reflective aluminium layer on the outside is covered with an additional textile layer. This means the typical silver foil is not visible from outside and the covers look far more discreet. It is ideal for anyone who wants to retain a subtle, everyday appearance when parking or sleeping in the vehicle and blend in better with the surroundings without sacrificing the insulating performance of the covers.

Material and construction

The thermal window covers are made from a multi-layer insulating material combining:

• Thermal insulation • Reflection of solar radiation • Water repellency • Opacity  

The result is a product designed to withstand regular use while travelling, on weekend trips and on longer adventures.

Mounting and installation

The thermal window covers attach using high-quality 45 mm suction cups included in the package.

For reliable adhesion, it is important to:

• Thoroughly degrease the glass before first installation. • You can use our degreaser or, for example, water with dishwashing liquid. • Ideally clean the windows before the start of each new camping season.  

Clean, grease-free glass is essential for reliable suction-cup adhesion through temperature changes and regular use.

Production and availability

Because you can choose both the colour of the inner fabric and the edging, most thermal-window-cover sets are made to order. This allows you to match the vehicle interior exactly to your taste.

Production itself usually takes approximately 3 working days, depending on the current workload in our workshop.

We try to keep standard variants in black, dark grey and light grey in stock. When currently available, they are dispatched immediately.
